Looking for a fun and educational way to keep your middle schooler busy this summer?
We have teamed up with GoMcPherson to offer STEM Camp. STEM Camp teaches students important manufacturing skills in two hours of fun, hands-on activities. Each class covers a different skill used by STEM professionals every day. What does STEM mean? Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It is an educational initiative to prepare kids for STEM-related careers. However, STEM skills are useful in a wide variety of careers as it focuses on the importance of critical thinking to identify and solve problems. |
How does STEM Camp work?
Students are introduced to that day's topic and learn why it is important in manufacturing. Then they will put those concepts to the test! There are four classes covering different STEM skills. You can choose to register either for individual classes or all four ($40 in savings!) Learn a little more about each class below: Go Discover! No one should feel stuck alone in a corner to wrestle with a difficult problem. What age can attend? Students going into 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in the Fall. Is there financial aid available? Yes!
